![]() ![]() Although I’ve done a fair amount on Zevran’s armour, it’s still a complex mesh and so much work still needs to go into it. I really want to take a little break from the DA stuff and focus on something else honestly, since I’m feeling a bit burned out. I thought it was so adorable actually that I thought of maybe creating a similar style for the sims 4… on top of that, they added this really cute Chinese style dress/robe that men can wear as well, and I wanted to make something like that too… perhaps I should update my “Count D” simįrom sims 2? I’d like to make him a pretty new robe now. I noticed they had this really cute hairstyle added for guys. ![]() ![]() I started working on Zevran’s outfit on Sunday, and I have a decent amount of the body mesh done… but on Tuesday, the new patch for FF14 dropped and I decided to play it a bit again (I haven’t played FF14 in months). Not Sims related, but still sort of mod related. ![]() ……the extractor also hasn’t been updated since HW I think… so trying to find Shadowbringers stuff with it… was unbelievably tedious. The skin and hair shaders I’m using are from the “Digital Human” UE4 tutorial for creating realistic characters that I edited slightly. But hair always does for pretty much anything. Hair in UE4 I find takes a lot of extra work. The hair I got lazy with, I didn’t paint vertex colours or create a flow map(I used the normal map from the game in place of the flow map which sort of worked a little bit). Although I did need to create new skeletal rigs, and a bunch of new texture maps(New diffuse, Scatter, Roughness, Specular, alphas, displacement etc.) for the shaders to work right. It’s the same models and normal map textures extracted from the game. I’m new with learning UE4 so this was an attempt. So anyways, I thought it would be neat to put my “Warrior of Light” and Emet-Selch into Unreal Engine 4. I know… I’m late to the party with that, I don’t mod MMORPGs so I never know what’s available. I recently discovered that there was a really easy to use program that extracts models and textures from FF14. ![]()
